Celebrating local sounds

NZ Music Month takes place every year in May, run by the NZ Music Commission since 2000, with the purpose of celebrating music from Aotearoa New Zealand and the people who make it.

This year, Manawatū Community Hub Library and Feilding & District Promotion, bring for one night only, on Friday 15 May from 4.30pm – 7.30pm, four local bands to perform in the heart of rural Manawatū on Manchester Square, Feilding.

Come, gather together and help our community celebrate and appreciate the local sounds - it's FREE! Grab a bite from local eateries, food trucks or support a local fundraising sausage sizzle while enjoying the music.

Manawatū Community Hub Libraries will be there with the Mobile Hub, taking the library outside! You’ll be able to sign up as a library member, borrow items, and explore what’s on offer.

 

Line-up:

4.30pm – Quite Frankly (Feilding High School rock band)

5.05pm – The Fire Flys

6.00pm – Ferral

6.35pm – Midnight Switch
